Sport
The children love sports at Trinity Church of England Primary School and our curriculum allows them to take part in many sporting activities.
Our focus is on making sport enjoyable and accessible to all children as well as providing opportunities to represent the school in a range of sports competitions.
We try to offer a range of clubs at Trinity Church of England Primary School. These vary throughout the year and include football, basketball, cross-country, dance, hockey, athletics and summer games.
Older children have the opportunity during the autumn and summer to take part in sports clubs run by Sports Leaders at Bishop Justus Church of England School where activities on offer include dance, football, badminton, table tennis, rounders and cricket.
We are very proud of all our children and their sporting achievements. They work well as a team and produce results of which we are very proud. We currently run boys’ and girls’ football, cross-country and athletics teams. Our aim is to increase our participation in sporting events within the borough.
During the year we organise various sporting events based on our house system. This includes whole school cross-country races and sports days. We will also run, weather permitting, six-a-side football competitions for both boys and girls in KS2.
