Vision and Values

Then we will shine among them like stars in the sky as we hold firmly to the word of life.

Trinity is a caring and inclusive school, focused on ‘excellence for all’. ‘Only our best will do’ and we keep in mind how we can ‘shine like stars’ as we hold firmly to our Christians values: love, respect, courage, trust, justice and hope.

Spirituality statement

We recognise that the development of spirituality is important for all children, regardless of their faith or beliefs.

As a Christian school, we teach the children about the Trinity and a Christian understanding of spirituality.  We aim for each child to feel safe, secure and confident; that they are inspired, challenged and supported to be a successful learners and reach their full potential; and that they grow in spiritual awareness, knowing that their own views are valued and respected.  We encourage the children to look around them; to value the beauty of the world, be understanding towards all humanity and to understand and relate to their own emotions.

We teach our children that just as the star guided the Magi to Jesus, they can ‘shine like stars’ as they embody our values of respect, love, hope, justice, courage and trust.  As they live out these values, they are becoming beacons of society, leading by example, supporting and helping each other.

‘Then we will shine among them like stars in the sky as we hold firmly to the word of life.’ (Philippians 2:15-16)
